this is my response to a spam post i got – from a user on this site most likely paid to spam this:

at first my initial reaction was,

DELETE.

and not even validate it’s existence, although a big part of me deep down was scared that, because it did exist, that people actually go to it, and the cycle of crap circulates. this shit needs to be called out, these things need to be addressed.

SO being the rebel that i am, i clicked on it.

and “important” according to who?! they’re huge with tons of resources made RICH by the public supporting them and because of that they’re iconic and well known (welcome to capitalism)
but that doesn’t make them “important” by any means to your health,  — the real COST of it all.

There’s already too much trash out there on the internet about the TRASH people “should” be eating according to the agenda of the producer, seller, and marketers.  What about YOU?! they call it JUNK for a reason — AND in quoting M. Pollan — it’s glorified as ‘junkfood’, when the word FOOD doesn’t even apply to the crap you’re eating.  Of course they’ll make it easier for you to BUY their products.

I have nothing against burgers and fries – when they’re MADE right, with real ingredients, holy crap it’s yummy.  I’m against all this petroleum produced CRAP that’s masked to trick my taste buds, subsidized and sold cheaply to the public just to pass another meal – yea, sure, it’ll feed you for the moment, but its consequences will linger much longer than you even know in all aspects of your everyday life. cost of food, cost of gas, cost of health care, cost of the crappy earth that affects the food produced on its tired soil for your CHILDREN to eat.

AND I can go on…
(thanks for the amo, i can’t believe you got paid to spam that crap. please stop giving people misinformation if you really care about survival and where YOUR next meal is coming from)
